I bought an Icon magnetic tank bag (the backpack version) and on first ride out, it came off and almost hit my partner on his bike riding behind me. There (in my opinion) is a flaw in this design as its shape at the top is more for comfort when you are using it as a backpack but this also means that the top magnet tab does not fit flush and the wind catches very easily. This almost caused an accident on first use and trashed the bag. I bought from Sportsbike shop and they immediately refunded and sent back to Icon. So now, I opted for the Bagster tank cover (which was a doddle to fit) and looks better than I expected on my Yam XV950. Now im am deciding which Bagster tank bank to buy to go with it. Hope this will help.

My Sedici #16 tank bag almost fell off today. On highway, glad I caught it with my chest. my bag had house keys & new cellphone. Next time, I must be more mindful of the placement of magnets. Issue is my magnets are smaller than videos. Round small ones on top and button of bag then on far end of left & right flaps. Little afraid now....

I bought this tank bag and love it, but the magnets are inadequate. This bag comes with straps and I never ride with it on my Triumph without the straps which come with that bag . They loop through the frame anywhere and the hooks go right into the side of the loops sewed into the bag. The magnets by the self WILL NOT hold this bag with any thing inside the bag much less if it is unzipped to the larger capacity setting. Just thought you would like to know.

What is the 2nd tank bag (the one with the straps), looks like it has ‘bags connector’ written on it

Cut a hole - or buy a bag where it has a hole - in the base to match the gas cap, easy to fill up at the gas station
