This would be a perfect product if the software enabled the user to use a qwerty keyboard's arrow and f keys to access parameters which aren't accessible by the software. For instance, you can use the Studio's mode key and press pad 5 and you'll be in sample edit mode, but if you want to switch from trim to chop or program within sample edit, you have to reach for the mouse. If this were something like the MPC 4K, chop and program would be accessible by using arrow keys to move the cursor or there would be an f key. I'm assuming that on the MPC X and One, you would just use the touch screen. Is there a way to use a qwerty keyboard's arrow keys to access these parameters that I'm unaware of? If not, this would be a great addition to any MPC Software update. Also, it would be nice if I could just hit "enter" on a keyboard wherever the software gives me a "do it" option.

when i want to use mpc beat and use my mpc live as controller.
I am missing the new VST version 2.10

try downloading the mpc beat again but no. there is no new version.

What do you advise me to do?

great video! question, when you are doing the note repeats for the hi hat mine is still recording single hi hat beats, i hear the repeat notes when attempting to record but it doesnt record it.. please help...

It would also be cool if the MPC X software could bring (non) synced LFO type of motion from the CV ports.
including a software emulated version of the Make Noise Math eurorack module instead of a virtual keyboard.
ADSR / function generator emulator where the virtual keyboard resides. than it would be unbeatable.

as a Akai MPC X and first original CD3000XL (and stil has the foil on the lcd and it's box) owner.
Could you reproduce a few of the filter boards and effects boards for the S3000XL/CD3000XL/S2000 series?
i still need one of each.

Please tell me if I can't find squares to be automatically drawn when recording. They only appear when you press a circle with dotted circle lines. Where to turn it on what would be when you press the pad when recording? The button is on TC

I think this unit will sell well, and the screen, even though is small it is good, because it's modern designed to provide basic information. The screen has five lines and it is colored.

So, why Akai to not create and a standalone version of the MPC studio 2?

I just dropped here my idea, hopefully someone from Akai will read my message.

Hi. I use this for church, using progression chord only. Btw is there a way to set the led color lights on the pad so I can easly sets which color button is the major, minor, 7th and so on.
