We just bought a new pickup truck to tow our new RV. We wanted lots of secure space to stow our gear, so it was a given that we'd get a tonneau cover. Since this is the very first pickup truck we've ever owned, we did a lot of research first.

When we close it, everything in the bed is securely out of sight. And it doesn't interfere with the tailgate, allowing either to be closed first.

It's super solid and weather sealed, keeping everything in the bed safe, secure and almost completely dry, even in heavy rain.

I bought the same tonneau cover for my F250. It’s heavier than I thought it would be but I like it. It’s not 100% waterproof (unless I screwed up installing it) and I’ve found that there are small plugs where it folds that pop out occasionally and you know that one has popped out when you see the seal at the joint isn’t completely flat.

I'm on my second one. The first one was great. Bought a new truck with a shorter bed. The one I purchased for that is absolute garbage. We had some pea size hail and it dented it all over. It doesn't seal properly after three months and the finish is wearing off. I don't know why the quality has suffered so greatly in the three years since I had my first one but I recommend finding an alternative.

Loved my MX4, but just a few years in the 'hinges' have failed entirely and I am in the process of a warranty claim. Long story short, if this sits out in the sun much, its not going to last due to the rubber hinge/seals. Quite the shame and not sure if I will reinstall or resell the replacement should they honor the warranty. My latch busted a few months ago and they were very good about sending the replacement, but I feel like the design is always going to be a problem.

no more diesel pusher motorhome? i’m on my 4th bakflip cover . all under warranty cause the seals rip after about a year
