I'm thinking of buying one in 2015, but does the Aem system affect the sound of the engine or do they all sound like that?

Planning to get one but confused between SHAWD and FWD.

SHAWD adds weight and affects the fuel efficiency.
FWD has less moving parts so less expensive to mantain with better fuel efficiency.

How does P-AWS system supports the handling of the car?
