Sometimes YouTube knocks it out of the park with their timing of songs & videos. Really needed this on this emotionally trying day.

Moved across the country a year and a half ago on a whim because my sister thought it would be good for me. While I was trying to heal or come to terms with multiple known/unknown complications, mentally and physically, I wasn’t in a good living environment. Even though I was around people I loved, I felt alone because my struggles and my interests were so different and not easy to understand, and I didn’t feel like I was cared about. I was constantly longing for a place to call home again. When I think of home, I think about a place/time with good friendships, a family, less health problems, a place where you don’t feel alone (even when you physically are), and a place you feel safe (even though it wasn’t at times). That’s the home I long for. I may be in a better living environment where I am now, but I’m overworked in my job and it’s affecting my health. I still feel alone, lost, confused about what I really want in life, don’t have health insurance anymore, and I really really miss my family... and after loosing a lot of loved ones in 2020, it feels even harder to be so far away! Anyways, I feel numb/anxious most of the time, and songs like these help me feel again. If anyone has any sad song suggestions about home, like this one, please send them through. Much love 🖤

this song reminds me that.. sometimes the ones we love the most and cared for the most and scardificed for the most, , do turn away and they treat that person the worst of all. when all you really tried to do what your best. this song is healing for my heart. no one is perfect and thats ok. we should be loved for who we are as others would want us to love them for who they are.ty hollow coves.

Found Hollow Coves .. earlier this year ....by chance .. they toured London....gort see them .live .. now my favorite band helped me through the worst of times In my life ... thanks guys !! Keep turning the wheel ....and get back to the UK for a full tour soon see you O2 E ..
