, Ana on my shoulders and we'll laugh away" also remy's thoughts of being able to not use alfredo's body, also adding in how alfredo would benefit too
"Ana hear me, Ana baby, I'm not crazy" this is actually in alfredo's pov, him trying to explain to collete tatou (his goth gf) how he can't cook without remy
and again, the killing part after is the thoughts in the back of remy's head of throwing alfredo away and just cooking on his own

This song really does strike me as a song about anorexia, the breathing in the beginning reminds me of all the exercise, playing god/ not eating to feel in control. “I couldn’t kill”, it’s an addiction, not eating, loosing weight, you can’t stop. And it feels like a good thing

Personal view on this song
I see a person who fakes happiness and their personality everyday, but sometimes has a breakdown, the breakdowns become more and more often and it seems like they always break down in front of Ana. But who is Ana? Ana is themselves, is the part of them who accepts their feelings, the part who keeps them in control.
Man, I could write a book inspired by this song.
