Honestly, there’s a lot of hidden details in the animation that people talk about that I just don’t notice. Like, I saw the other Jayce’s during the scene where he killed Viktor, but I didn’t realize those were the collected memories of old Viktor and/or the ghosts of other Jayces. I thought that was mostly done to show how fractured and traumatized Jayce had become at that point and how deeply emotional that decision was. After all, Viktor welcomed him with open arms and Jayce could not bear to look at him. After all, for all Viktor’s “oh I’m Jesus now I don’t need worldly possessions I’ve found my true calling” and Jayce’s “this is your obsession”, in the end they just could not give up on one another.

Well technically, only 5 met Viktor at this exact location. There could have been other Jayces that met Viktor, but at different locations - or they could have met Viktor here without the intention of killing him.

There is a theory that the multiverse exists because of Human Choice. The concept of the Butterfly Effect perfectly explains this: If you make a choice between A or B, each choice would create a ripple effect in time and affect the future very differently than if you chose the other, creating a multiverse made up of all the trillions of choices you would have made in your life. A futuristic paradise exists because a billionaire chose to donate x amount of money, a dystopian hellscape universe exists bc that same billionaire chose to donate 2x more than the first universe, a different universe if he donated 3x yada yada. The last two Jayces must have been either A. Jayce watching Viktor finish the job or B. Jayce holds his hand through it all and they both die (The Prime timeline)
