This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the app and the video. Only thing is it is a bit complicated as we need the app on the S2, the companion app TaskS2 ($1.28CDN), Tasker ($3.99CDN) and also Autoremote ($4.15CDN) to fully leverage the IFTTT feature. Would have been better if we didn't have to have so many different apps running. Having said that I love that I can use my S2 to unlock my door, tun on and off my lights and fully take advantage of my Wink Hub

I am using tasker a lot on my phone and have it installed and working on my gear s3. Nice job! So this makes it easy to control functions of my phone from my watch. But is there a way to use tasker to control a setting on the gear watch? For example, I'd love it to switch the brightness of the screen to a low value (1 or 2) between the hours of 2300 and 0700. Or, to switch to vibrate-only at certain hours.

Hi, is there anyway to hide tasks so they don't show up on the watch, maybe in the phones companion app via check boxes. Once you discover how good tasker is you tend to write a lot of tasks and it's a bit of a pain having them all show up on the S2.

Do you know why my wink shortcut do not all show up in IFTTT? For example lock door does but unlock door does not

Didn't work for me. I tried the example in the video, the task "brightness" shows up on my watch, when I tap on it, the phone displays a message "Triggered Brightness" but nothing else happens. When I start the task on the phone directly it works.

So... You need FOUR apps (TaskS2, Tasker and AutoRemote -all paid apps BTW) plus IFTTT in order to trigger some actions from your watch. And that only works when your phone and G2 watch are close enough. Seems like something is really wrong if you need so many pieces.
