There are people who are saying that the Spirit Bomb can't destroy with a pure heart, but here are reasons why that's not true & these statements are made Miguel Soriano.

1. When Goku told Gohan that if he had no evil in him then it wouldn't was due to the fact that King Kai told Krillen to feel Vegeta's evil energy. That's why Gohan was able to bounce it off & deflect it back to Vegeta.

2. King Kai literally said that if Goku wasn't the Spirit Bomb it could desy the Earth & Goku literally told himself this on Planet Namek when he was preparing it against Frieza.

Gohan, Krillen, Goku & Piccolo were both ducking out of the way when it hit Frieza. I'm going to add that if it couldn't destroy with a pure heart then they shouldn't have needed to get out of the way to do so.

3. Goku was afraid that of it killing Vegeta when he was using it on Kid Buu.
