Caledonia Golf & Fish Club holds the unique distinction of being Mike Strantz first solo golf course design. Along with True Blue Golf Club (located just across the street), Caledonia is one of two Myrtle Beach golf courses designed by Strantz. Equal parts golf architecture and art, plenty of challenge and visually stunning features are the main characteristics of this special golf course. In fact, of all the Myrtle Beach golf courses we've played on this trip, we'd be kidding ourselves if we didn't say it was the best golf experience of the trip.

Perhaps the most memorable feature of Caledonia is its one-of-a-kind closing hole. The difficult approach shot over water is made only more difficult with the added pressure of golfers watching you fail or succeed from the Caledonia clubhouse. Can confirm Pace of Play issues... however, we had a 740AM tee time and we still played in 5:15 minutes. We started playing weird games just to keep ourselves occupied. Waited on every single hole.

Played Tobacco Road in 2013! What a gem of a course. We played 36 holes that day and my buddy shot +1 for 36 holes! I on the other hand just tried to survive
