After Daniel Bryan asked for his release as SmackDown General Manager to once again become a full-time Superstar, Shane McMahon emerged to introduce Paige as his replacement.

I was devastated when I heard she had to retire due to injury. To see her given the Daniel Bryan treatment and given another role in the company rather than just drop out altogether is heartwarming.

Im glad WWE gave her the opportunity to be the GM. She had such a short but great stint at WWE. This is a girl who loves wrestling so much and has been wrestling ever since she was a teenager. She deserve this.
