I'm not a huge romance reader, but sometimes when I really find myself annoyed with the characters for being cliche, I know it's time to read a different genre 😀

Remarkably Bright Creatures is one of my all time faves! So glad you loved it too!

I’m in the same spot as far as romance reading . It’s just not doing it for me and I need a break. I’m looking for deeper reading and plots. I’m finding literary fiction and some mysteries are more what I’m enjoying for now. Especially the literary fiction. Read KINFOLK. I loved this book. Came across it by accident and wow!

I love romance too but this year I've had to branch out and read less of it. I've been on a Kristin Hannah kick. Some of my favorite books this year have been literary fiction.

It's a good thing I got The Au Pair Affair on my kindle if it's an average read. I'm in two minds re The Match- I may get it.
