Height of cylinder = 20-(2+2)
=20-4
=16cm
Diameter= 14 cm
Radius=d/2
=14/2
=7cm
Now, area of label = L.S.A of cylinder
=2πrh
=2 × 22/7 × 7 × 16
=44 × 16
= 704cm²

ans - Take the radius, first by dividing diameter/2 = 14/2 = 7cm
Height = 20cm
Since the height of Label is placed 2cm from top and bottom
= 20 - (2+2) = 16 cm
And now the lateral surface area =
2 × pie × r × h
= 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 16
= 704 cm²

Here's question 10:-
Base diameter of Label:-14cm
-Radius=14/2=7cm
Now, height of label=20-(2+2)
-20-4
=16cm
Thus area of label =2πrh
=2*22/7*16
=704cm²
(here "*" means multiply)
