i finished this in like. 2h so i’m not proud of it LOL but like in a way i am..?? i was never able to animate like this in such a small amount of time and now i can. SO That’s COOL.

after i posted my lovemail animation meme i’ve been feeling like my animations have all been lazy or i’ve been taking shortcuts in them often by doing lazy tweening with no shading at all and i’ve been feeling pretty disappointed in all of them so i’m gonna see if in the next few days i can actually post something with genuine effort because i don’t want people to think videos like these are all i’m capable of.. no promises really because my motivation tends to die out of nowhere but i really wanna try to put out something that’s genuinely impressive and that i myself can be proud of too

Okay so...
I RARELY take the time to leave comments on videos. Like... I do this maybe two or three times a year. But this is LOVELY. I absolutely /ADORE/ your art style and how beautifully smooth and... soft, I suppose, everything looks. I LOVE that. So much. The colors work so well together, and I love how your lines seem to make the drawings look much more complete, rather than the stark, abrupt markings of black outline.
Not just that, but your transitioning is incredible. The way things move from scene to scene, so to speak, just-- pleases me. Keep up the good work, man. This deserves to be flaunted absolutely everywhere.
I also would not call this a bad piece of work. Quite the opposite. I almost really adore the slightly messy parts. It adds to the personality, which so many animations lose after hours of redrawing and smoothing things out.
Seriously, man. Keep this up. This is beautiful.
