WHAT YOU NEED TO START MELTING METAL including LIFTER AND TONG BUILD

HOW I MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it.

Back again for a scorching hot Friday video. Only two weeks into summer where I'm located and I can tell you it's not that fun melting in this heat .
Today I go for a bit of a drive to my mates scrapyard where I pick up two great pieces, one is a 75 kg water motor of sorts, and the other is a 300 kg plus old Welder from the 1930s or 40s (i'll have more info on the welder when I release that video ).
I cant wait to be melting down that Welder in a future video as it's gonna be a big one. I'm guessing 30 or 40 kg of Copper at least in the big piece. Anyway enough rambling. I still remember the video where he got locked out of the house and melted the window screens for revenge in his shed, it’s been amazing watching the growth from those small melts up to towing home an absolute behemoth motor to melt down in a dedicated smelting pad next to the dedicated shed for the insane stockpile of things either melt or melt with, and the crazy goal beinand having to set a new milestone.
