My Setup:

Hi, I'm John, and I've been passionate about #history since I could remember. I majored in history and historical research and trained for a year under an actual historian. Ultimately, I am a History Buff like many of us. Let's #react and discuss things we know and so much we don't know about history!

This could be one of the best written skits ever. Nates face is perfect doesn't crack at all I loved it

Churchill said it during WW2, "You can always trust the Americans to do the right thing, after they've tried everything else."

“And we shall release this sketch to YouTube. But only in reaction form.”

The “I did not” and the way he keeps looking at him when he asked about the slaves always get me 😂😂😂

I watch this sketch over and over and over. Tickles me pink. Up there with "I live in a van down by the river."

I saw an interview where they said at the table read it didn't get any laughs. They tried it at dress and all thanks to Nates delivery it killed. And here we are a year later still basking in it's greatness. This is the best thing to come out of SNL since Norm left 26 years ago.

I'm Australian, and I learnt British and American measurements, which is not the same, and I also learnt the metric system. People don't like the metric measurements because they are logical. And you're not allowed to be logical.

The delivery was everything on this…. It couldn’t have been done by just anyone and got the same laughs.

This is a really funny and truthful skit. One of my favorites for sure of all time on SNL. 😂

To be fair it is the healthiest thing for a society to make fun of its past. We do not honour the past by taking it too seriously. Quite the opposite.

I was surprised they didn't mention the date format difference between the USA and the rest of the world.

I'm Australian, and 😂 my butt off. I learnt both metric and imperial measurements in school back in the seventies. First-time watcher and subscribed. I like your style

Here in Canada, we DO use feet and inches in certain trades like construction/carpentry etc we buy fruits and veggies by the kilogram but buy potatoes and butter by the pound. We got a bit of a strange mix of imperial and metric measurements here as well.

We can't act superior in the UK we use every measurement under the sun. We still use MPH, gallons, stones, pints, acres and Fahrenheit (yes I did need to look up the spelling) when it's really hot. There's probably more. Our tape measures also have both measurements on them.

Hilarious sketch, in Canada, we are officially metric, but practically, we also randomly use
Metric or imperial depending on what it is. More metric leaning lol but it’s still random.

A great British pint is larger than a us pint 😀

Keenan is on the SNL retirement plan 😂

If it were only history, it would be even more funny. Unfortunately this is still giving young US Americans a disadvantage when going into science. One more hurdle to take.
