Thanks for this!! I missed those things you mentioned. My guess would be, the Queen of Hearts, Red’s mother, manages to take over Auradon successfully and Red, being the rebel, goes against her.

Also in some descriptions she calls herself an anti hero

So she’s not evil

She does good in an unorthodox way
