Anybody who wants to go to film school or going into film editing as a career, should study Jaws with intensity. They should know Jaws back to front. Steven Spielberg was a master of terror. Even without its musical score, Jaws is a masterpiece and one of the greatest thrillers of all time.

People seem to think the Shark in Jaws only shows up in the last third of the film because it didn't work. It was written in the script that its full reveal would be in the third act. That's not fluke. Its good writing.

That Great White turd as Steven Spielberg often uses scared me sleepless when I saw it at 6 to 9 years old and one day I pushed myself to watch it again at 10 years old and watched the whole film and after that I became obsessed with Jaws even now I consider it to be one the Best Films ever made, I still have books on sharks from childhood because I developed a fascination with them rather than fear them theirs just something majestic about sharks
