Introducing The Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training

The Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training is the right qualification for people who are already teaching adults and want an up to date qualification to back up the work they do.

For example,

• You might be carrying out training at work, delivering staff training days, inductions or group updates .
• You might be working in a college, a further education or adult learning centre
• or teaching people to pass recognised qualifications, including NVQs, either as part of a group or individually.
• You may have an existing basic teaching qualification such as the Level 3 Award in Education & Training or PTLLS and want the next step up.

The Level 4 CET is the new national qualification and is recognised by OFQAL. It has replaced the popular Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector or as it was better known “kettles” - so you can be certain you are getting the latest teaching methods and knowledge.

The course lasts 8 days and covers everything you need to gain your Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.

This qualification will give you:

• Proof of your ability to plan and deliver effective teaching sessions
• The ability to meet the needs of your learners.
• And an up to date understanding of the adult learning process
