I’m so glad to see devout Catholics keeping their ashes on all day. I too am devout and keep my ashes on all day long. I work for a hotel in Miami and when I got to work my boss asked me if I would be washing the ashes off before service and I told her very proudly, “Absolutely not.’” She didn’t respond with words but I could see she wasn’t happy with my answer. I worked a 12 hour shift that day and I proudly kept my ashes on all day.
