This is a strange case, he was studying Judaism in Pakistan, came to Israel and practice Judaism and still the Israel government still says there not Jewish enough, it still does not says what needs to be done for them to be consider Jewish enough by the government.

How can a religion be true for you or others if you're rejected based on your ethnicity?

This family should get à Israeli citizenship not only on the ground of them practicing the jewish religion but also on the ground of humanity. I am a Israeli jew who don't practice religion and i feel that they are better jews then i am

It's because the color of their skin.
Dark skinned people are treated as second class citizens in Israel.

They need to contact Rabbi Grossman of Migdal Emek to get help with their situation. On the flip side, the govt let people from Sudan and Eritrea stay.

*Makes me wonder what's the percentage of refusal request by country, if you compare them to Europe and America, I don't want to make it a skin color thing, but we all know it is, and I'm betting that the refusal percentage is much more higher in countries with darker skin people.*

This case sounds strange. Israel doesn’t need bad public relations like this.

They were only converts but not really Jewish by blood and DNA.

So glad the council did not exist when Ruth came over with Naomi or when Jacob blessed Ephraim and Manasseh, their mother was Egyptian. Daughter of the Priest of On. My request has been hindered because the council did not accept the Rabbi's letter supporting my grandfather was Jewish. They want their Jews not just the seed of Jacob. They need to focus on those who love Israel and are zealous for it like HaShem.

Dear israel let them stay . They are beautiful people, loving, respectful and most of all they want to be with God . If they didnt do something right . Make sure it gets done the right way . I love you israel forever !

Shame on the "conversion authories". Such foolishness! If they are bold enough to suffer, study, get circumcised and come, shame on you!

Who in his right mind would want to live in Israel?
For those who want to convert, practice Judaism and give their children a religious Jewish education, there are so many countries with the religious Jewish infrastructure where you will be much better off. US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, UK, France, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Australia and many more.

Wrong shade of Jew, plain and simple. If the where from Poland or Bulgaria, we would not be having this conversation.

This couple seems to be genuine. Why will the authorities not convert them.
