Got my Cobain signature one in 2012 (left handed!), And seven years later she's battle scarred and still one of the best guitars I've ever played (and my only electric guitar)

I started on a real mustang blue with racing stripe in 1976. I loved that guitar and it's micro magical sound.
I love the luthiers and builders at
Fender. My new American professional 2 tele is such a piece of
Art in every way. Again I forsook Gibson for my Man Blue 💙 tele.

I've had a lot of guitars over the years and as a fanboy (well fan-man I'm 40 now!) a couple of them have been Mustangs. This Mustang is truly something else though, it has stripped all of the annoying things away and left you with a very well made and very simple guitar. This is now my go-to for pretty much everything. If I was forced to criticise anything it would be selector switch position but once you're used to where it is this stops being an issue. I doubt anybody would regret buying one of these. 👍

Other guitar companies at the time, were still using old world techniques brought over from European countries with centuries of tradition. Leo Fender, being born and raised in America fully embraced modern manufacturing and production line techniques. Stream lined design, built to be played by you, and a slick automotive paint job to boot. Never have I grown so attached to a piece of wood like Fender.

This is a magical Mustang! 🙏 I have one in penny, finally there’s a video on it. I think it’s the star of the performer series 🌟 in my humble opinion ✌️one of my most precious guitars. Ps it works absolutely magically with good fuzz pedals!
