WOW! This is amazing! I don't do my own mastering, but many times I have to pseudo-master my mixes for demos, etc... This unit is familiar to me because just about every mastering engineer I have ever worked with uses it. Softube, you guys are amazing!

I dont go by big names because every expensive plug in may not be appealing but this plug in sounds great. This thing is mega. The better i get at using lower cost plug ins the better i get at using this thing. You could get with this or could get with that. The choice is yours. Lol.

I bought your Weiss suite. It’s the best sounding plug-ins that I’ve ever used, but good god is it a cpu drain. Do I have to buy a new Mac g5 to be able to use it properly?

I've tried many Softube plugins over the years and never liked ANY of them. There are loads of free plugins that are way better than anything Softube has ever released.

For $499 I would like to see and hear examples of why your device is any better than any comparable free, built in, or stock plugins that come with any DAW. I know I can download the demo, but you are the ones making the product, so the expectation is “show me what it can do” compared to my existing setup. My thinking may be a little irrational, but a $499 plugin should perform 499x more amazing things than free and stock plugins, since it costs 499x times as much. People often compare expensive plugins to expensive watches or cars with nonsense justifications, but plugins are different. With watches and cars there is a clearly noticeable difference between a $20 Casio and a $10, 000 Rolex. But in the audio world, some differences are so subtle they are BARELY AUDIBLE, and people tell you “ooh get better speakers” and justify their placebo with nonsense explanations. You don’t need to get prescription glasses to see the difference between a Casio and a Rolex, and you don’t need an eye upgrade so feel the difference between sitting in a cheap Ford or a Rolls Royce. Yet, the audio quality between a free plugin and a $499 plugin is often virtually inaudible. Your plugins should cost approx 10x less than what you are charging and even that would be overcharging because even a $50 plugin is usually not 50x times better/faster/nicer/more quality than a free or built in equivalent. Yes we can try the demo, blah blah, but that brings me back to my point, it doesn’t sound as good what you are charging for it! Even if you sold it at $50 it would be hard to justify the cost for any rational human being who thinks with their brain and isn’t influenced by marketing jargon, placebo and FOMO (fear of missing out) I can see that you guys do quality work because the graphics look nice but audio wise, the plugins don’t sound as good as what you are charging for them, because your pricing is completely ridiculous. I’m sure the Softube team would be outraged if they went to the supermarket and saw a bottle of water being sold for $499 when every other water costs $1. Wouldn’t you be asking how is your water 499x better and tastier than all the other equivalents?

Tell us about the product and show us the product.. Thats what people want to watch the video for.. Not to get a head ache..

Very good marketing idea but a very bad practical idea...The real unit is just a huge dsp processor, there is nothing analog inside. You need the power of a computer solely to that in order to run it. Plus have to consider that weiss upgrades the product every 5-10 years. Im very sceptical...
