I just watched this movie twice. I loved Karen David's character. Her singing and acting is top notch. I also like the chemistry between her and her male love interest. Watch this movie!!!

The description on IMDB is the same as above:

Uh, where did that girlfriend disappear ... in the script? She wasn't his girlfriend in high school. She had left a sample of a song in his office, but he never listened to it. When his only client heard it and liked it, he went looking for her. That description must have been the original concept, but got changed. I will not spoil the rest in case you haven't seen it yet.
