I thought the song "Sikulo" was about two people who yearn to get back together because they loved each other, and still do. However, as the song concludes with the lines:

"Tapos na ang mga pamilyar na tonong naririnig ko
Ni hindi ko na matapos ang kantang 'to
Pero uulit-ulitin ko hanggang marindi na ang aking puso"

They are already in the process of moving on, reflecting on their happiest moments together. They look back on how things ended and regret missing the little things that could have saved their relationship.

But even the thought of trying again brings fear; the risk of more heartache looms, as this remains as an unending cycle (sikulo). Because it became a cycle between the two of them - they never tried to reconcile despite knowing, understanding, and acknowledging what went wrong because of the pain inflicted upon them.

So they both embark on healing and moving on, seeking peace in their hearts. "Pero uulit-ulitin ko hanggang marindi na ang aking puso" is the perfect line to end the song. It signifies continuously revisiting memories—from the start of their love story to its painful end—until their hearts learn not to listen anymore, until they are weary, until their hearts accept that the song— their story—is over.
