'Sanctuary' Round 2 - Across The Desert

Editor's note: Small typo! Vance is actually 20, not 19 lol. I believe I got his age mixed up with Maverick (he's been invading my mind for some reason) so that's probably the reason why I said 19 instead of 20. My mistake! Forgive me. Welp, it's out there so we just have to accept it. Anyway, aside from that my favorite part about making this round was the arrow scene... yes, the short arrow scene. Idk what it is, maybe it's the music, maybe it's the hard ass work I put into it, idk but that's my favorite part in this video. The time capsule scene was stressful, but the rain is what took the most out of me. So much rain! I had fun with the rest of the video though.

Vance: Well, looks like he's getting along with everyone lol. You can see he's still worried about his father and he doesn't trust the companions back in Kaiden. He also has a new crush! He's also getting closer to Johnny. Johnny actually helps Vance show empathy more than he thought he was capable of, and Cyra allows him to just be himself and probably vent lol. Ariana is someone he thinks is interesting and obviously attractive lol but it's her personality and being able to be himself around her that captivated him. That and Ariana keeps it real with him and because she's not so easy to read, Vance sees her as a challenge in some way. Not like in a romantic way (sort of) but in a "I wonder how I can get her to open up more and trust me like I trust her" type of way. A friend.

Better late than never, but!! This round is absolutely brilliant! You said the rain scenes were giving you a hard time, but man, it was well worth it! They came out beautiful in your round!
I love Vance's contrasting attitude to the others! It would have been easy for him to enjoy each new phenomena they came across in the desert, but he's kinda real for not loving the rain (especially while out in the desert, it seems like a dangerous combo, lol). And you did amazing with the Chester fight! Just a wonderful job overall!

Mama Anne the way you showcase Vance abilitys is just amazing.
I love Vancr characterization and how ee see so many emotions of his.
His anger, annoyance, frustration, his hurt and worry.

The line about Forgivness really settled well with me to what his therapist said. But I also agree with Vance. It can be damn difficult.

How Ariana is the first person who he gets more open but also trusting is very loving.( It might be the old shipper in me, because of the Call of the hunted Roleplay, but I really really like their interaction and realationship developing.(For whatever Direktion it will be.)

I love how we can totally see how Vance is more a character that slowley very slowley warmes up to people. He is more introverted but is very compassionate.

And love those memory flashback with his dad. No wonder he cares so deeply about his father.

That exchange with him and Cyra Was amazing. I love how they can empathize with each other because of their anger.
Haha Cyra calling him a kid and getting Proving she is older than him is soo awsome!

And Vance interaction with Johnny is just soo chefkiss.
I loved how Vance and Johnny are so distinguished in both their behaviors. And again that Vance was showing compassion(while dealing with his own freaking panic attack. Which gosh that Red colouring and the sound is freaking ouch!!)

Love so so much the tug of War about the object.

Those effects!! And the voice over!! Mama Anne did you read that or who was it? Anyway freaking amazing and the visuals are the whole time soo freaking striking!!

And last but not least the end with fighting Arianas brother!!
Gahh I loved the fight scene soo freaking much. All of you plotted so cleverly and the tactics! SO EPIC.

Aww. And poor them having to escape again🥺🥺
