In this video I will define a unitary matrix and teach you how to prove that a matrix is unitary. To do this I will demonstrate how to find the conjugate transpose of a matrix and derive an expression using the identity matrix to easily show that a matrix is unitary.

This is a great and helpful video but I think there is a little typo at 3:18. There is an 'i' instead of a 1 in the bottom right corner of the bottom right matrix.

i might be misunderstanding the terms but i think its u^.u = I where u^ = read as "u dagger" which is the complex conjugate of U transpose. U^ = U thats a hermitian
