In this day and age the Aventador's single clutch gearbox really handicaps it against other cars in and around its class. It clearly loses ground when it shifts.

Impressive from the Huracan! Even as the Aventador jumped first! That dual clutch and weight must be helping a lot! The only problem is the Aventador was shifting in Automatic mode apparently (Who races on Auto)

The original LP700-4 is not fast enough anymore. It is barely faster than the LP610-4. Let's see how the Aventador S compares with the Huracan. Or how about racing the Performante vs the SV?

aventador got the jump, the huracan was more impressive IMO. also the active aero on the aventador really looked like it dramatically slowed it down with the extra drag

By the way The Aventador roadster is like 50 kg heavier than the Coupe i guess, the Coupe Aventador is faster than the Huracan in a straightline, but on the track the Huracan is faster

The roadster is slower than the coupe Aventador and the guy is in sport mode as u can see he is not shifting

Aventador was automatic so it doesn't matter if it jumped on manual, it would catch up.

Ok others must've said this but who races in auto/Strada ffs? You can tell how slow the shifts are. They're usually lightening fast. I'm no professional race car driver but damn, you spent all that money learn to wring every drop of speed and enjoyment out of it safely like in this situation. Props to the Huracan for keeping up despite the jump :)

Why on earth would Lamborghini make the Hurcan just as fast as the Aventador, and much cheaper aswell. Shouldn't this make the Aventador irrelevant

IMO, there is no reason to buy an Aventador instead of a Huracán. Otherwise is much more rational and, in many situations, you can extract more performance.
