I find it ironic how Adult swim is way more respectful to their old shows by giving them references and cameos from time to time. But when it comes to Cartoon Network, all they care about is Teen Titan Go and reusing that formula

It’s gonna be weird to see Family Guy not airing on Adult Swim anymore. I’ll never forget staying up late when I was younger to secretly watch Adult Swim. This truly is the end of an era.

I still remember accidentally discovering Adult Swim when my brothers and I stayed up late watching Cartoon Network in August 2004. Family Guy, which I had been hearing so much about as a 13-year-old, started playing. The episode was Mr. Griffin Goes to Washington, and I was incredibly excited to see the episode began with the Griffin's going to a Red Sox game (New England boy, here). Within a year the show returned to production and I became a possibly excessive fan.
Truly the end of an era.

It’s truly heartbreaking seeing family guy going off adult swim & remembering seeing it air on adult swim around 8-9 along at 7 with king of the hill I’m gonna miss it airing on adult swim & had a good run on adult swim

As a kid, I always thought it was silly “Adult Swim” but, now I realize, that just like family guy, other people grew up on this channel. Aqua teen, squid bills, venture bros. Thanks for the memories and friends I bonded with over your shows.

This makes me a little sad and nostalgic. I haven’t watched cable in so long but I will always have fond memories of staying up as a kid to watch family guy with my siblings.

This actually makes me water up a bit. I remember back in 2006, 4 year old me on the top of the bunk bed and my older brother tuning it on to Family Guy almost every night knowing damn well I wasn't supposed to watch, been a fan of the show wayyyy younger than I should have. Adult Swim will always be Family Guy's home for me, and same with Futurama

Adult Swim got big thanks to Family Guy reruns, and said reruns on AS brought the show back from cancellation.
Disney’s various cable networks are going to get a huge boost from this.
