testing the viral 'Overnight Blowout' curlers | fab or fail

This was SOOOO highly requested by so many of y'all and honestly I was excited to try it too! The VIRAL Overnight Blowout has been all over my socials. COMMENT BELOW 👇🏻 do you think it'll work or no?!

The second this launched I immediately ordered it because I knew it would sell out fast, AND IT DID. I watched a few videos and reviews on the best practices and this is what I found out- it's best to start with your hair semi done or at least clean and blown out. Your hair should be dry and then depending on if you ordered a 2 roller or 3 roller section out your hair following the directions. The overnight blowout rollers are designed to MAINTAIN your hair not take it from 0 to 100 so thats why it's suggested to have fresh and done hair and then you can use these in the evenings to keep it looking nice and refreshed throughout the week.

I tested this 2 ways. The first was just drying my hair with my heated volumizing brush and then rolling it which worked great! For the second way, I had my hair professionally blown out (so clean with bounce but flat on top) and it was also great, the best part was that it actually added volume to my flat roots which I really liked.

I will say it took a few tries to get the rollers in right but I honestly think it's pretty user friendly and the results really turn out well once you do get it. My only con was sleeping on the back roller was a little uncomfortable but I think it's just something you can get used to plus I could've just had the placement in a bad spot. Overall I call this a FAB! No question it really did impress me and was great!

Just got mine and I followed exactly what Mindy said about not pulling the hair where I can see for the second and third rod and it worked out well. I've tried the long foam road where you twist the hair around, tried socks, leggings, flexi rods inside socks, but nothing worked. My hair always looked wonky in the back. Tried the top part for literally 5 mins earlier and it looked amazing. Excited to take this out in a couple of hours.

I get great results without blowdrying or adding heat. I feel this defeats the whole point of heatless styling or heatless blowout/curls. Just wait for your hair to be 90-95% dry slight cold dampish hair then roll! Next day should be volumous and bouncy. Longer you leave your hair rolled up the better the result. Doing this each night will enhance and keep the curl and volume in. Hope this helps

I bet you if you used strategic product on 80% dry hair to minimize the frizz of course of no heat, and then slept on it, it would set way better, hold longer and give a ton more volume and bounce! Doing it on dry hair won't make the set as good because its counter productive when doing "heatless" setting also know as "wet setting". It looks fabulous, but just to maximize the hold.
