"Here be lions" is a common letmotif in the first two wings of Pandæmonium.

Fitting that Hesperos' theme is called "Hic Svnt Leones." Its a phrase ancient cartographers used to mark uncharted territory on their maps. Hesperos was the first "anomaly" we encountered. A once noble and kind keyward turned into a twisted mirror image of himself and seemingly driven mad.

There is even deliberate contradictions in the song. "Savage nobles, cultured thieves." Because nothing in the deeper chambers of Pandæmonium makes sense.

"Here be lions, follow me." Is Hesperos inviting us to delve deeper into Pandæmonium's madness, and its uncharted chambers.
