As an aulus main I can say that chou is the worst nightmare for me

For some odd reason cyclops works well in countering aulus, his ult practically lets him stay in place while your team bursts him down

The best counter for Aulus is to never let it snowball. Harass it because it gets its power spike at level 12. End the game early before he gets to level 12.

Tank junglers too, if you can invade him and delay his farm thanks to how bad his early game is, you should have no issue to out snowball him most of the times

Phys basic attacker counter : bruiser with blade armor, dominance with vengeance. Works everytime.

Also another weakness apart from heroes, AULUS TAKES TOO LONG TO SCALE. Like the late game marksman, aulus is VERY item dependent so to prevent him from being op in the late game, pressure him on his lane. If he's the jungler, gank him early (don't if the tank or support is babysitting them).
