Kirby Smart, Tate Ratledge, and Jalon Walker spoke at Georgia's postgame press conference after their Sugar Bowl loss vs. Notre Dame.

The loss ended the Bulldogs bid at winning their third CFP championship in four years.

Both teams played their hearts out. The last three games played between ND and GA have been exciting and close. Losing three starters on the OL and three more starters on the DL alone have been devastating to ND. When asked, the DC of Golden said that he hasn't seen or experienced any team that has the loss of players to injury that this ND team has. Despite that, what a fight these teams had in this game. Three entertaining games.

Our Georgia team played poorly. We beat ourself and our offense line played like garbage. Giving a kick off return touch down and two turnovers. This was not the Ga way. Lots of work to do. Love the Dawgs but they must get better. Taking nothing from ND.

Coach Smart is FOS. The fourth quarter 4th and 1 thing was a debacle for UGA. Why are his players sprinting on to the field. They could have jogged to make ND take a timeout or get delay of game. Then interior linemen are right at the ball and still jump offsides . . . that was idiotic. It cost them five plus additional minutes in possession. Brilliant move by Coach Freeman.

Then Coach Smart was foolish to try to pass in the shadow of his endzone with 39 seconds left in the first half. UGA was only down by three. Just take the knee and be ready for the second half. Sometimes you got know when to fold them. The "being aggressive all the time" mantra is BS. If you can't read the situation and adjust accordingly then you aren't a good situational coach. There were way too many risks of putting your offense and your inexperienced QB in that position with little to no time to do anything meaningful with the ball. You would need a chunk play to make going for a FG or TD worth it with only 39 seconds. And that means a drop back pass with time needed by the OL to protect your QB for the chunk play to develop. Just a very stupid decision by Coach Smart.

Coach Freeman coached circles around Coach Smart the whole game. This was winnable game for Coach Smart. He just made several bad decisions at the worst times that when combined with the UGA turnovers gave ND better chances to win the game.

I don’t have to justify anything. Your team did not make it to the playoffs. Alabama got ass beat by Michigan also. Georgia lost and my opinion matters to me and yours does not matter to me!!!!
