Crysis 2 Xbox 360 vs PC Graphics and Audio Comparison Video

As we all know neither the Xbox 360, or the Playstation 3 are nearly as powerful as today's gaming PCs. This really only affects the graphics aspects of the comparison. Therefore leeway is given to the consoles. If the graphic quality is so close that we'd usually call it a draw, we'll call it a win for the console for keeping up with the overpowering PC. This goes for all the categories, and the case will be laid out as to how we came to that conclusion. We're not bias to one platform or another. Rather, like you, we like to know which version is best served getting our money. I've talked about Crysis 2 to death, but saw it on sale, and was curious how the game ported over to the consoles. I'm happy to say the Xbox version of Crysis 2 held up very well. We'll be comparing several games over the next few months. We'll also be doing Xbox vs PS3 comparisons soon as well.

I didn't think graphics matter at all in a video-game. But think the graphics of Xbox-360 and PC look like the same-thing.

i dont know what the big deal is about these slight graphic differences, its very pretty and all but when i played crysis 2 i seem to remember concentraiting more on kicking alien ass rather than how nice and leafy the bushes were, dont get me wrong i think it looks great but at the end of the day it is on a PC so its kind of a given that the graphics should be better.

I think everyone is forgetting about how the xbox is capped at 30 fps and 720p, while the PC's fps and resolution are most normally 60 fps at 1080p, or possibly 120 fps at 1440p.

you did it wrong.what you should've done is record cinematics events on both in HD, then cut each video in half on different sides and then just fir them together.that's would've worked better.and the video should be fullscreen to see everything you know.but it's a great vid nontheless ;-)

@Prophecy86x Thank you. Well I know I personally like to see the differences myself. As most of my friends are poor college students, or poor because they're paying for college folks, they usually only have a console. So unless the PC versions is MUCH better I'd get the console version to play with them. If you click the link to my website I outline all the reasons why the PC is better besides just graphics.

This game obviously looks better on pc, like most games, but i'm playing this on the 360 and it still looks awesome as hell

@GamingLabel Even still it looked better than pretty much every other game. Now with the DX11 update, and Texture pack... it squashes everything... that is until Battlefield 3. That baby looks AWESOME!

@IEXxILEDI True. Now the gap is even wider. Although I'm still impressed with the graphics on the Xbox. They're MUCH better than anything else I've seen on the console as far as shooters go.

its becuse you can keep a pc up tpo date with the best graphics cards and st00f, you can't add more hardware to an xbox.

esta claro que todos los juegos se miran mejor en pc, aparte en xbox 360 el crysis 2 va muy lento, mi primo lo tiene, y no me gusto para 360 esta mejor para pc
