Testing and compairing Dirty electricity created by some common CFL and LED light bulbs.

You can use a portable AM radio and put on blank station and hear the noise CFL and LED's give off.  All other electronics in you home also give off RF (radio frequency)  energy. You get more RF from your local cell towers, AM/FM and TV transmitters.

Try put bulbs on both load side and line side of the circuit and see if it differs.

Oh! That globe bulb is the Archipelago bulb! I've been very interested in this one since it looks the most like a plain incandescent bulb. Glad to see it's clean!

I am concerned about the affects they have on the radio spectrum .I know they are energy saving bulbs but at what cost to health and noise pollution i used them until i could not hear my AM radio when the bulbs were on so i have gone back to using the good old incandescent light bulb.I have got a lot of them now as you will no longer be able to get them so i built my stock up and hope to use they for years to come.

I doubt there are any health risks involved (I would be far more concerned about UV from CFLs in that regard), but those CFLs can cause some nasty hard-to-debug electronics malfunctions. If your smartphone touch screen starts acting up whenever you plug in the charger, a CFL plugged into an adjacent socket may well be the cause. Same if your sound system suddenly starts buzzing after a bulb change.

Honestly, I prefer CFL over LED. I just hate LED.
But my favorites light source are incandescent, mercury vapor and HPS

electromagnetic induction is termed dirty electricity? anything with step up or down transformer will be switching currents on and off many times and that will trigger signals to upset the electromagnetic detector, which can also be substituted with an am radio for audible pick up, incandescent bulbs with like resistor load heating up a coil of wire, flourescents work like an induction motor back emf glow neon, leds work like a direct dc high resistor load, but after it has been stepped down to dc usable levels from a transformer that why it still gets into trouble with electromagnet detector

THANK YOU for the Video - I have been SICK for years with CFL's... Unlike normal People I don't break the CFL Bulbs and sniff it to make me SICK :(((. I get SICK from the CFL Bulb being lighting up during usage. Recently, I found out I get SICK from LED's too and I wouldn't DARE to say to anyone because they would think that I am CRAZY :((((. If anyone is out here getting SICK from Compact Fluorescent (CFL) Light Bulbs and LED's... I just wanted to say YOU ARE NOT CRAZY and YOU ARE NOT ALONE !!!!

What is dirty electricity and why should I be concerned about it?

Also I have 9.5 watt 60 watt equilvant CREE LED light bulbs in My house can you do a dirty electricity test on these blubs plus the the floods and there daylight counter parts as well too.

I'd say it's more of a problem with other electronics like computers, audiophile, or radio gear than a health issue. (Unless you have a pacemaker.) But to really see what kind of line noise there is, you'll need an oscilloscope.

you are testing all dimmable led bulbs. dimmable leds gives off higher dirty electricity and electromagnetic frequency than non-dimmable leds. always avoid dimmable leds.

Sharks hunt via electroreception, so who's to say certain people aren't sensitive to RF. I'll say this though - when I hear of "dirty electricity" I think more of all the unnecessary wattage you're drawing from your local coal-fired power plant because you're still using incandescents & halogens. And then having to crank your AC because your house is so hot. Stick your "Stetzerizer" on that AC unit and tell me how it does!
