PHAM DUY OCT 26 CCC 2024 10 PM

The late composer PHAM DUY was a very famous Vietnamese composer. He was born in North Vietnam. While joining other Vietnamese to fight against the French troops trying to get back to dominate Vietnam, Pham Duy started writing music. He became famous.
In 1954, he left Nort Vietnam along with one million Vietnamese to settle in South Vietnam where he became more and more famous. He got out of South Vietnam before South Vietnam was lost to the communist North Vietnamese.

On Oct.26, 2024, Vietnamese Canadians in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) had the chance to listen to Pham Duy's music in Toronto, Canada.

This Youtube was created for fun only, out of nostalgia by an amateur Vietnamese Canadian music lover living in the GTA.
