Hand-Held Drill Guide For Drilling Straight Holes All The Time! The Milescraft DrillBlock allows you to drill straight holes all of the time, on many different drilling surfaces. On the bushing block, there are 6 holes for common drill bits sizes. The bushing block is held at a tight tolerance and allows you to drill a hole 90° to any surface, centered on a round item or even directly into the corner of your project.

This drill block saved my arse. I had to install pulls on 2" thick closet doors. I put tape on the doors, drew some lines then clamped the block to the door. Perfect. It was an impulse buy at Woodcraft that turned out to be extremely useful.

I need to drill a 5/16 inch hole into a lot of aluminum 2" conduit pieces (arbors). Would this help make straight holes, or would the unit #1318 or #1335 do better job?

It should have 2 holes for screws incase you need to mount it or have clamps in the way...(or plugs with center holes for a screw)

Why is it shaped like a wave? Is there a purpose for this shape rather than a simple rectangle?

Good, but the "ergonomic design" limits it's use when drilling horizontally.

Great design but why only have 6 drill guides? Not nearly enough guides holes to be a tool that doesn’t end up frustrating you. So many more common sizes.
