Memorize Your Guitar Fretboard in Under 5 Minutes (easy!)

I love little memory tricks like this and knowing all the notes on my fretboard made me feel a lot more confident as a guitar player! Learning all your notes on your fretboard is very handy because you can start triads or chords around other strings (not just your E and A!) and make your solos match your chords better (and end on the right root notes). Thank you for the "Little Trick". Been playing for 60 yrs now and never thought of it note wise to remember from the basic E and B string as you explained. It helps to more quickly identify a note anywhere on the fret board.
