Very nicely built and clearly a great flyer. Radio guidance is great. But there's something about old timer rubber that holds my own interest over the years in ways that radio stuff simply can't match. I think I need a Chieftain of my own after seeing yours flying....

As a teen I learned so much about balance, trimming, thrust angles and light-weight building techniques from freeflight models like this! Would recommend everyone to start with this before getting out their cheque book for the more expensive sides of our hobby!

This should bring a tear to the eye of the older aeromodellers. Do a few more of these please.
Of course with free flight you can end up blubbing for other reasons- When I was 11 the dog sat on my newly finished model in the back garden when I took it outside for a first photoshoot. Waving a model goodbye in a monster thermal spoils your day as well.
Even with RC models I miss the days of the full bungee launch down the local field. All electric now. Getting too old.

Lovely little video, very relaxing! In my early teens I built a KK Senator rubber model, had hours of fun with it, best flight off local sports field was around 3 miles, caught a thermal on a summer afternoon! Made a change from control line with an AM15 finger masher! Roger in Spain 76
