Hi, I'm a first year student just starting to apply calculus. At around 5:57 could you have took the denominator to the numerator and raised it to the power of -2, then use the product rule to differentiate?

Thanks for this! We don't get to use calculus in physics so this was really interesting.

I have a question sir. How do prove that it a maximum? Would we have to double differentiate it as minimum point can have zero gradient too. Thank you!
