I will watch this many times over. You choice of a laminate on the inside of the cabinet was a surprise. I have considered many different components for that exact same idea. Rubber always came my mind. Very well done sir. Always so enjoyable to watch the thought and care. You couldn’t create a better cabinet without upscale joints. Little touches like hot gluing wire is clever and up to snuff. Very well done!

You can listen to these all day long and not get listener fatigue. Those Jantzen Superior Z Caps are serious components. I recapped my B&W Matrix 805s with them and transparency and detail were noticeably improved.

Very impressive. Almost fell on my ass when I saw the floor tile installation but hey,
there has to be some sonic science to it. I would really like to buy and build this particular
CSS kit and now that I can see your fine craftsmanship - I think it's a go. I've heard nothing
but good things about these kits so good on you for building one and good on CSS for
assembling the components together to make such a high end kit possible (and affordable)

CSS is right down the street from me... Literally a few miles away. I am looking at the stand mount version of these, or the Criton bookshelf with the upgrades... I own the KLH Model 5's, and room is the issue, like not enough room... Getting tired of moving speakers, LOL! I am seriously leaning towards the bookshelf, but these in the stand mount are not much larger... I need to go down there and listen to what they have. I just purchased the Denafrips Venus II 12th DAC, and the Model 5's, I know they are holding back this DAC... I can easily sell them to purchase a pair of these... Decisions, decisions...

Wow you really stepped it up here Donnie. They look amazing. And so well crafted and constructed with very smart design and construction. I am sure these are full range towers. Can't wait to read your thoughts on how they sound, espesialy the bass region, i can only fantasize about the extension and impact. Will a sub even be needed, doubt it.

Also really nice video work, great production value. As an owner of the Encores and the 1TDX, I look forward to your comparison. Overall very impressive, great work on all fronts. P.S. I can only imagine how pissed off you were with the router slip, but nice recovery!

Warning: There is an error on the cabinet plans. The side pieces should be 9-1/4" wide, not 10-3/4" that is shown on the plan. CSS said they will be making the change to the plan soon.

Very handy work it would be nice if they came with all the modes you made to the wood work. i can put them together but i don't have access to those power tools.
