Tragedy as Mr Gottlieb Sr passed away / Trump visit cancelled

The story summarized: Trump was scheduled to visit Gottlieb’s deli, a small historic little deli in Hasidic Williamsburg. It was going to be a huge moment for the community. Also for me because I have been taking my tours there for more than 10 years and know the Gottlieb’s really well. You are such a genuine and kind lady. You have opened up a huge world for. Despite being a Christian, the Jewish people hold a very special place in my heart. As a young person I was blest to have the love and friendship of a neighboring Jewish family. It is impossible for me to imagine who I would be without their influence. I was very timid and lacking in confidence. Yet because of the sweet children in this family, I was able to discover my calling in life. Their mother, despite huge losses and challenges in life, taught me so much about optimism and the noble pursuit of happiness.
Thank you for the wisdom shared through your work. You are a model of respectfulness. Your work highlights the wonderful diversity our country can and ought to be proud of. I am so sad for you and the community. May the memory of Mr. Gottlieb inspire us to remember how precious life is and to live with a loving respect towards all, including those with whom we may disagree.
