I knew what was coming. I _knew_ what was coming, the first and (at time of writing) only time I’ve made it to good ol’ Five Pebbs (although my Gourmand playthru eternally teeters on that precipice). The spoiler-ific lore vids I knowingly consumed were part of what inspired me to get back to this game after being stuck on the _same goddamn fucking six screens_ in Underhang had me put down this game for well over a year, at least.

And yet.

And yet, seeing it for myself, finally making it there as Survivor for the first time, even on a Nintendo Switch screen that was *just barely* underequipped to handle it with all the visual fuckery (to say nothing of how I fear poor Artificer is just plain unplayable on platform given the demanded playstyle of her campaign, and trust me, that’s not for lack of trying),

by god, was it something.

We are all just little moist creatures interfering with the passing affairs of random gods, aren’t we?
