No thank you. The problem is not the design of the torsion beam or multi link setup. Many car brands using the same setup for suspension, but the inconsistency of the build quality and subpar materials that being used. Should avoid this car/brand at all cost.

does not matter torsion beam or multi link, its all marketing bias. if the quality is shit the result will be shit.

Even local car brand, local assembly car so far never see got this serious problem, the main problem is quality issues.

If they cannot even make a simple torsion beam last…

It’s all about brand image which is closely linked to the quality and reputation of its after sales service. Judging from how they handled the matter…no thank you.

This video totally missed the point. What matters is whether it has been assembled properly!

it is not about same suspension or not. It is about the lack of quality and poor quality delivered to customer. To be honest, Chery have a lot to do to win back customer trust. This is not a small problem like Proton power window previously. This is a BIG issue that could have cause life!!

I suggest you take down the video because I think you guys are making a fool of yourself.

Thats why omoda murah tak masuk akal. Low quality built. Proton far better than this shit

Chery Omanda is doing well in Australia, Russia, Africa, and other places. Only in Malaysia are there issues because Malaysia has a Chery assembly plant where all parts are welded and assembled. Therefore, the Malaysian Chery division should take responsibility. Chery cars in Australia, Russia, and other places are all directly imported from China, and there have been no issues like axle fractures. Especially in Africa and Russia, where there have been no problems for several years. So, Chery in China shouldn't be blamed for this. Malaysia should acknowledge its own production accidents, and the world should know about it. Malaysia owes China an apology.
