Also, Neeko original voice actress is made by Flora Paulita, a Brazilian Voice actress who also does her voice in the Brazilian server, she also has a lot of portuguese words in the middle of her sentences, and in her brazilian voicelines Flora and the director change the script to include a ton of jokes related to brazilian foods and mannerisms!

So we kinda consider Neeko our first "Brazilian Champion"!

I think Neeko looking like a cute lizard girl actually makes sense as a form of self-expression: if you can look however you like, you’d naturally gravitate towards a form you find attractive. Even if Neeko’s race were inherently “genderless”, I believe that those with a defined romantic or sexual preference for either gender would likely take the form of that gender by default

Hi, neeko main here, I have nothing to add except HOW MUCH I love the little interactions they added between neeko and jungle camps. For those who don't know, she waves at jungle camps whenever she walks by them, and I love it I think it really reflects on her innocent and kindhearted nature.

I feel like putting her as "conventionally attractive cute girl" isn't totally fair (tho I understand the short format you have to work with here, nuances is hard on 50sek)

Her proportions are totally different from the copy/paste Kaisa, Zyra, MF type women. Longer limbs, flat chest, oval face with huge eyes. I remember I really appreciated her looks when she came out, as a different style of cute.

I feel like it's a missed opportunity to make her gender fluid or genderless, but I guess China wasn't ready for that🤷‍♀️
