Thank you for making these!! I live in Kansas City and take these types of drives from time to time. If you go around Troost or the paseo on the east side of town some of the building architecture is like nothing we will ever see again. Just watching this video and seeing how bad of shape the area is in think about how cool it would be if this or other old areas were treasured and restored and redone. Merry Christmas!!

Notice the overcast sky. This is typical for south bend. Averaging 192 days of Grey skies with no sunshine. There's literally a dark cloud over south bend more than half of the year!

was a family - owned liquor store.
The family lived upstairs.
The owner was shot dead in a robbery,
way around like 1980.
It never reopened as a liquor store.

Man you were in my area and didnt say anything? I could have given you the tour. The areas you are driving through around Lincolnway west are where 99% of the violent crimes take place. Im glad I live on the outskirts of town.

I live in South Bend for a year or two it was the worst experience of my life the mayor only shows Notre Dame in the news and they say it’s been fixed it’s never been fixed

Oh my goodness!! You came past where I used to live on the corner of Sibley and Wilber streets, but now the old house is gone and is a vacant lot. I used to have some good times living in the old neighborhood, but now the area looks so depressing. Thank you so much for posting this video!!
