I've been saying this for the last 20 years. I don't get why the UFC, which has bought out Pride, doesn't use that exact design

PRIDE was definitely something else. Even the announcer was fired up at the beginning of round 1.. "Ready... FIGHT!" 🔔

Pride leather is without a doubt the best I’ve seen, too. True full-grain, extremely well conditioned, supple chrome tanned leather that doesn’t take several hours to break in but still had great durability.

Wish I could score a few pairs of the originals. All the knockoff ones are trash “genuine leather” or synthetic

No wonder Don Frye and that Japan dude go toe to toe like that. The padding is crazyyy

Pride gloves allow fighters to throw a thousand punches without giving a single bruise to their opponents. While ufc gloves only aim to reduce the impact on the fighter's fist and give freedom to the fingers for a tighter grip. Maybe pride can add protection to the fighter's elbows and knees too.
