If I were in a wheel chair crossing the street, & a +3000 lbs car were coming at Me failing to stop I'd feel in fear for My life. Anyone else would too. I'm not saying his actions were completely justified until we hear more facts. However, I don't believe a single logical person sitting on a jury would find him guilty. Cops Point their Guns EVERYDAY in Albuquerque at Citizens when they're in fear for their lives. This guy didn't shoot. all he did was brandish a firearm because he felt in fear for his life. I bet what ruffled APD's feathers was he doesn't have a valid CCW. which he do not need, because his wheelchair is his transportation. therefore protected under the State constitution to carry a loaded concealed weapon. either way, I bet the states case falls apart.
