Several parts of Bihar are reeling under floods as embankments along the Bagmati, Lalbakeya and Kosi rivers were breached in several areas.
Officials said that the flood situation has worsened with fresh embankment breaches but noted that the situation was under control. "There is nothing to panic," an official said. The State water resources and disaster management departments have been working on a war footing, he said.
