ANBERNIC RG40XXV Unboxing and Gameplay

The RG40XXV might be Anbernic's best looking handheld yet. This is the same chip as their updated 35XX line, but here you get a nice 4-inch screen and a rather comfortable form factor for a vertical handheld.

The single analog stick isn’t the greatest, but it’ll get you through some PS1 titles and a handful of N64 games. The rest of the buttons feel great though.

I love my transparent black. Save the white foam cutout for when you have to open the device up.

This console would be PERFECT of they had used one of the hall effect joysticks on the 406V/H. I'm expecting at least a couple more devices from the XX series next year (with this new stick).

Absolutely LOVE the rg40xxv! Nearly perfect retro handheld. My only (slight) regret is the more I see vids like this the more I kinda wish I got the blue instead of the white lol. Which I skipped bc I was afraid it might be purple-ish bc they called it “indigo” n it kinda look like it in a lot of the pics.. So I might have to pick up another one sometime soon lol. Altho the rg34xx is looking mighty fine and wud pair nicely with my rg35xxsp as well so idk.. you can nvr have too many of these :)

How did you get full screen to work ? Mine just shows the Emulator blocks on the sides and crops the video.

Só fiquei um pouco decepcionado pelo fato de quase todas as ROMs traduzidas para português BR no GBA, GB, GBC, NES, SNES, PSX... não estarem sendo reconhecidas pelo sistema desse portátil, o que acho um tremendo retrocesso, pois até hoje consigo jogar essas hack roms no meu RG280V, o problema dele é que não possui direcionais analógicos, e isso inviabiliza na hora de jogar alguns games de PSX.
